VCQ series roof cowls require no maintenance. Under normal Australian conditions, a life expectancy of 10+ years is possible.
Designed to provide a weatherproof opening in ducted systems to the outside of buildings, the VCQ roof cowl series is a simple and robust solution.
Combined with in-line fans or ceiling-mounted fans, roof cowls sit on a roof and allow air to be drawn in or exhausted from a building.
Roof cowls allow ventilation while not allowing rain or debris to enter the ventilation system, which reduces the risk of water damage, mould growth, and other structural problems.
VCQ series roof cowls require no maintenance. Should cleaning be desired, this should be carried out using a mild detergent. Abrasives or solvents should not be used. Slight fading may occur due to the effect of ultraviolet rays during service; this will not affect the performance of the roof cowl. Under normal Australian conditions, a life expectancy of 10+ years is possible.
